The Halabasters' Haunting Halloween!

The Halabasters’ Haunting Halloween is a party game where friends gather for what should be the most spectacular Halloween night of the year—and end up caught in a chilling double murder. Adrian and Adeline Halabaster are legendary hosts, known for their elaborate costumes, eerie decorations, and that one unforgettable toast: “Ladies and gentlemen, ghosts and goblins… here’s to a very, very haunting Halloween.” They clink glasses, champagne flows, and the party begins—until, in an instant, both of them collapse. No signs of struggle. No obvious cause. Just two bodies on the floor, surrounded by guests who all had reason to be there.

Now it’s your turn to find out what really happened.

Each player takes on a secret role: one or more are the killers, others are innocent guests, and someone might even be an undercover detective. As the night unfolds, you’ll talk, investigate, and deduce—who poisoned the champagne? Who switched the glasses? Was it jealousy? Revenge? Or something darker buried in their past? You’ll move through rounds of conversation, sharing clues hidden in your character’s backstory, watching for inconsistencies, and trying to spot who’s lying. Accusations fly. Alibis crumble. And with every whispered secret or bold declaration, the truth inches closer.

The killers want to escape undetected. The innocents must survive long enough to expose them. And if the detective survives until the end, they win by naming the culprits correctly—but only one guess is allowed.

What makes this game unforgettable isn’t just the spooky atmosphere or the clever twists—it’s how deeply personal it feels. Every character has a motive, a secret, maybe even a grudge against Adrian or Adeline. Someone resented their fame. Someone was cut out of their will. Someone thought they were cursed. And as you talk, laugh, and accuse each other under flickering jack-o’-lantern lights, the line between game and reality blurs.

It’s not just about solving a mystery—it’s about seeing who your friends really are when the masks come off. And in this haunted house, no one is quite what they seem. The champagne may be gone. But the suspicion? It’s still pouring.
